December

December (4months on the 25th)
So as you can tell , I'm no good at this whole lay out. I don't know why everything is so spaced out and all, so sorry for that. But at least I'm doing this, right?!?

Ok so onto December! Still, lots going on in that month, too! My 2 best friends from childhood made a visit to see Parker and we had a blast!!! They ate her up and we had a great girls weekend. We went down to Matt's parents house and Parker got to meet her Great Aunt Judy, we got to celebrate Parker's first Christmas and she had a great milestone Christmas day...she rolled over for the first time and we caught it on tape! It was awesome!
We did have a not so good day thrown into December, but the outcome was positive. Remember wayyyyy back when I posted about how Parker was spitting up so much? Well...her DR. wanted to run some tests to see if there was something internally wrong with her. We went down to the Children's Hospital in Knoxville and spent a looooong day and a half there. They did three tests on Parker and the results showed that her stomach does not empty properly. So she is now on acid reflux medicine and a medicine that helps her stomach empty. It is something she will grow out of and we go for a follow up appointment this week to find out how much longer she will need to be on the medicine. I can tell that is is working and she is doing much much better now:) Ok time for the fun part...pictures!!!

Here is Parker with Joanna and Lindsay. The three of us have been best friends since elementary school!! Joanna is getting married in May and so most of the weekend was spent talking about babies and weddings! It was a great time and I can't wait for the 3 of us to get together again at Joanna's wedding:)

Here are 2 pictures of us at the hospital. The tape on Parker is to hold a tube that they had to put down her nose into her esophagus. It measured the level of acid in her stomach when she spit up. It had to be in for 24 hours and it looks worse that it really was. She didn't really notice it, and we put socks on her hands so she couldn't pull it out. The tough part was that she didn't sleep well and I ended up being up for over 24 hours that day. It was all worth it though, we found out what was wrong and are able to fix it:)

Parker got to meet her Great Aunt Judy in the beginning of December when we went down for Matt to go hunting.

Santa, Santa, Santa!!! We took Parker up to the mall here in town to meet Santa! She was at the perfect age because she was still young enough to not be attached to Matt and I. And she had no clue what was going on so she wasn't scared of Santa! I put her in a great little Christmas dress that she inherited from her cousin. This year we decided not to travel for Christmas. I wanted to spend our first Christmas as a family in our new home with our new baby. I decorated the house and put up our tree and it was perfect!
